The Cabarete Butterfly Effect, now approaching its 17th annual event in Cabarete, is more than just a gathering—it's a powerful and beautiful movement that began as an initiative to address the disparities between men and women in sports.

This uplifting, non-competitive event is dedicated to the celebration of leadership and empowerment for women and girls, specifically through watersports.

Our mission is built on three foundational pillars: celebrating and promoting the empowerment and leadership of women and girls, caring for our environment with yearly beach cleanups to preserve our playground, and giving back to the community.

Over the years, we have raised over $100,000 for local non-profits and are currently expanding our efforts through fundraising for the newly established Cabarete Butterfly Effect Foundation.
